Agape Youth Movement (AYM) is a youth-led organization active in the Tshwane municipality in South Africa focused on youth leadership, entrepreneurship development and digital engagement, with a vision of positively transforming South African society. Founded in 2009, AYM seeks to provide youth with the skills to solve social issues in innovative ways, mobilize various platforms to encourage youth personal development, and partner with other youth organizations to create a peer mentorship platform. The organization works towards this grand vision through power talks (youth dialogue events and online discussions on youth intervention in societal issues), #Moetapele (a student-driven leadership intervention program), and youth leadership talks. AYM has received various awards for its contributions to youth development, including a 2013 award for best community service organization from the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (a large NGO), and the 2015 Gauteng Care-Givers Award.
